Alan D. Dransfield, DMD
Dr. Alan Dransfield is a native of Tallahassee and loved growing up in the Sunshine State's capital. He attended W.T.Moore Elementary, Cobb Middle, and Lincoln High Schools. Afterwards, he spent two years providing missionary service in Nicaragua, Central America, where he enjoyed experiencing a very different culture and way of life. After his return, Dr. Dransfield labored in the construction industry as he worked his way through college. He earned an Associate's degree in Civil Engineering Technology from Tallahassee Community College, and a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from Florida State Univeristy . During that time, he met his amazing wife, Brittany and they we married in 2005. Brittany also graduated from Florida State with a Bachelor's degree in Humanities. Go Noles! Dr. Dransfield graduated as a Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Florida in 2012, and was recognized with the Clinical and Professional Excellence Award. During dental School, Dr. and Mrs. Dransfield welcomed their two beautiful children, who have kept them on their toes ever since. Upon graduation, Dr. Dransfield accepted a commission in the U.S. Navy Dental Corps, through which he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry, and was honored as Resident of the Year. He has had the incredible opportunity of training and providing dental services to the U. S. Marines in Camp Lejeune, NC for the past four years. Dr. Dransfield and his family are excited to return home to Tallahassee to re-acquaint with friends and family, and provide superior cosmetic and general dental services to his community.
